The first running of the Charity Mile race in France was held at Cagnes-sur-Mer racecourse on Saturday 25th February 2017, under the guidance of Princess Charlene of Monaco.

Each runner in the "Prix de la Princesse de Monaco - Charity Mile" was associated with a charity, which received a donation depending on where its horse finished in the race.

Great Dora, a filly trained by Franck Cheyer and ridden by Théo Bachelot was designated to Au-Delà Des Pistes during the Charity Mile event. The filly finished unplaced but the charity still received €2,000 from the sponsors.

The charity "Action Innocence Monaco" was awarded the top prize of €10,000 due to its association with the winning horse Miracle Des Aigles.  This charity has been set up to inform and raise awareness amongst young people, parents, education and health professionals and institutions on the risks related to Internet use. They also promote secure Internet practices and fight against pedophilia on the web.
This day’s racing, on the Cote d’Azur, was run under the theme of solidarity and Au-Delà des Pistes was proud to be associated with this new and innovative event in France.
