The accreditation process is free and will be granted for a year but it can be renewed.
The application for accreditation includes:
- A signed, general horse welfare agreement established between Au-Delà Des Pistes and the structure applying for accreditation.
- A letter of recommendation from a racing industry professional that has bought or placed an ex-racehorse with the structure applying for accreditation.
- A letter of recommendation from a rider or a professional from an equestrian discipline relating to an ex racehorse bought or adopted from the structure applying for accreditation.
- A letter of recommendation from a veterinarian that regularly follows ex-racehorses kept by the structure applying for accreditation.
After achieving the Au-Delà Des Pistes approval for accreditation, each facility is given a final seal of endorsement from France Galop, the governing body of French racing.
An accreditation certificate will be validated by France Galop and supplied to all structures that achieve the necessary accreditation criteria.
Accreditation does not entail any legal relationship between the association Au-Delà des Pistes and the accredited persons or entities, which are and remain legally independent of the association. The association can not under any circumstances be held liable on any basis whatsoever in respect of the actions, initiatives or actions of the accredited persons or entities.
