GRANDE ACTRICE wins the fifth stage of the Au-Delà Des Pistes Trophy
Sponsored by Godolphin, the fifth stage of the Trophée Au-Delà Des Pistes was won this Saturday by GRANDE ACTRICE, under the saddle of its young rider and owner, Emma Moreau. GRANDE ACTRICE had notably won the first stage of this circuit of Show Jumping dedicated to the retrained racehorses, on March 17th.
Lisa-Jane Graffard, representative of Godolphin said: "We are delighted to see so many retrained horses participate in this type of event, now unpublished in France. The well-being of the racehorse is an important thing for our entity and we are happy to support all actions related to it. It is very important to sensitize the actors of the horse industry, as well as those of the equestrian sports, on the potential of the retrained Thoroughbreds."
After a modest career on the flat and the hurdles of Province under the training of Eric Bergougnoux, GRANDE ACTRICE was retrained in the autumn of his four years, in 2016, to the care of his current rider Emma Moreau.
The next stage of the Trophée Au-Delà Des Pistes will take place on Saturday 8 September on the same place of the European Pole of the Horse, at Le Mans.
The Au-Delà Des Pistes Trophy 2018 will close on Saturday, September 29th.
