Darnetal wins for the second time in the Au-Delà Des Pistes Trophy
Sponsored by the Galop Breeders' Federation, the sixth and penultimate stage of the Au-Delà Des Pistes Trophy dedicated to the retrained horses of the galloping races was won by DARNETAL under the saddle of the former gentleman-rider and horseman emeritus of show-jumping, Robert Danloux. The couple had already won the fourth stage of the circuit on June 4th.
Loïc Malivet, President of the Galop Breeders 'Federation, commented: "The Galop Breeders' Federation is happy and proud to support Au-Delà Des Pistes through, including the sponsoring of a stage of this unprecedented trophy reserved for the reformed horses. Breeders are at the beginning of the life cycle of racehorses and are aware of the need to also consider the end of their racing career, if they can not return to a breeding cycle. Animal welfare must be at the center of our attention and the retraining of racehorses into the heart of our actions. "
Former representative of Gerard Augustin-Normand, DARNETAL has tried without much success in the disciplines of the flat and the obstacle under the training of François Rohaut and David Windrif. Retrained in 2013 by the Ecurie Seconde Chance, a retraining structure integrated into the national network of Au-Delà Des Pistes, and now 9 years old, DARNETAL is now evolving in the Show-Jumping Competition with more success!
The next and last stage of the Trophée Au-Delà Des Pistes, a challenge aimed at showcasing the reformed horses of the gallop races, will be sponsored by HORSE MASTER, a specialist in complementary foods and horse care, and the brand DYNAVENA, leader high quality flaked feed for horses. It will take place on Saturday 29 September on the same site of the European Pole of the Horse at Le Mans.
