GRANDE ACTRICE fins the 2018 Au-Delà Des Pistes Trophy
The 2018 Au-Delà Des Pistes Trophy, a new circuit of show-jumping dedicated to the retrained racehorse, ended last Saturday, following the 7th stage won by DARNETAL and the former gentleman-rider, Robert Danloux. The points accumulated on all the 7 stages of this challenge elected GRANDE ACTRICE as the great winner of this first unprecedented edition in France.
Aged 6 years old, GRANDE ACTRICE ran 11 times on the flat and provincial fences course without ever being able to be illustrated, under the training of Eric Bergougnoux. Retrained in 2016, she has since been competing in show-jumping competitions under the saddle of her young rider, Emma Moreau.
Aliette Forien, President of Au-Delà Des Pistes, said: "We are delighted with this first edition. The retraining of racehorses may still be unknown to many sports riders and this trophy is one of the actions we want to grow to promote the potential of these horses. It was an unprecedented challenge in France and we would like to thank all the riders who participated assiduously in each of the seven stages. Our sincere thanks also go to all our partners who supported us throughout the challenge and who allowed us to set up such an event: Jour de Galop, France Galop, Nicolas Clément, Fabrice Chappet, the Federation of breeders, the Dynavena and Horse Master companies, the Aga Khan Studs, Arqana, Godolphin and finally Philippe Rossi, director of the Boulerie Jump - European Horse Pole at Le Mans, which has put fantastic infrastructure at our disposal. "
